At Revolve NTNU, our designs are only as good as the parts we can actually produce. While our engineers spend thousands of hours perfecting complex 3D models in CAD, those models only become a race car when they meet the hands of experts who understand precision.

That is why we are incredibly proud of our long-standing partnership with Trondheim Stål. As our single largest contributor in terms of both the quantity and variety of physical components, they are a crucial part of the production of this season's race car.

The craftsmanship of Trondheim Stål is visible in almost every corner of the car. Most notably, they are responsible for the safety-critical welding of our Main Hoop, the structure that ensures driver safety. Beyond the heavy structural work, their facility provides the precision needed for our intricate laser-cut brackets and the waterjet-cut inserts that hold our entire assembly together.

What makes Trondheim Stål such a vital partner is their ability to handle a vast array of specialized materials. This year, their support has been vital across all technical groups, providing high-precision cutting for everything from Steel and Aluminum to specialized materials like Copper for our busbars, Kevlar, and Aluminum Honeycomb cores.
